- If the worker has been outside the UAE for more than 6 months, the visa may have already become invalid automatically — cancellation can still be filed in the system.
- The sponsor must submit passport/visa details and confirmation of the worker's absence per GDRFA guidance.
- Original passport is not required — a clear passport copy is sufficient since the maid is abroad.
